Really into Hell On Wheels now, great stuff.

Finally got around to watching series 3 of True Detective. Good stuff. A solid 7.5/10 at least. Mrs Turdseye hadn’t seen any of them so we’re working our way backwards through them. Watched the first two episodes of the somewhat unfairly maligned series 2 last night.

So why is he's flying, and with a snowman? It seems absurd, surely the snowman would disintegrate with the pressure and velocity, and the kid would come crashing to earth?

Based in London in the 60's it's the back story to Alfred Pennyworth (butler to Wayne family/Bruce Wayne/Batman) who after leaving the army sets up his own security firm as well as a bouncer in a exoticdancing club. Don't have to be a fan of Batman or comics as so far it just feels like a non-related show. It's dark, violent and that Paloma Faith is in it and is really quite good/menacing.

Four episodes in, this is fucking brilliant. Love it, 9/10 so far. Get it watched.

Completely ridiculous and over the top with more holes than a colander in the plot but good fun and Tim Roth is compelling 

The daughter is rather lovely as well

The City, New Brighton and even Southport look beautiful and full of character

Pennyworth is cracking. I think Paloma faith is brilliant in it and her character is very amusing and dark.

Pulling - Sitcom written and starring Sharon Horgan (best female on the planet after Cath) it was done in 2006 but its on IPlayer. 1 episode in and its fucking superb.
