Never underestimate the toughness of Brazilian players.

Most of them grew up playing street football, and the Brazilian league isn't a place for shrinking violets.

 

A classic example is Lucas a few years ago - when fellaini smashed him with an elbow and split his cheek, Lucas bounced straight back up with every intention of going for him.

Notice as well when there's any ructions on the pitch, Lucas is often the first one there, and not to break it up either.

These lads are proper tough little fuckers.

Mess with them by all means, but expect to get some back as well, as Coutinho showed with first ben arfa, and then debuchy, both of whom seemed to think he would be a pushover.
