Thought he was very good last night the kid obviously has talent and a little bit of a swagger about him which you need at this level  , he's really benefitting from a run of games and Klopps  tutelage .

He's going to be unbelievable in a few years if he can get anywhere near Gerrard's level then we are in for a treat .

I don’t think so. I really wanted Naby to be amazing. I still think he’s pretty good on the ball when he’s fit and in the team, but he never knows what to do without the ball.

No, I didn’t mean it was literally unfair. Naby has flopped spectacularly, needs to be sold/swapped.

He's a fucking liability without the ball. Every game he plays people target his side of the pitch because he doesn't offer the protection to the fullbacks and we get arse raped out wide and the CB get pulled out of position.

I thought he was going to be a really dynamic midfielder we needed, someone able to break into the box and score, get a few long range efforts each year and work his arse off. But sadly he looks like a busted flush. Alot of wages on another lad that can't stay fit.

We have too many of them.

Chamberlain, Matip and Nabby are on a combined £350k a week. Good players, Matip especially but it's a complete waste. You could sell Chamberlain and Nabby and bring in 2 top class playerswho can play each week

To compare him to Gerrard is simply mental.

But theres no denying it, as an out and out midfielder, he's better at 19 than stevie was....

But Gerrard became arguably our greatest ever player in his 20's.

If Jones can replicate that, then fuck me we'll win some silver wear

Yeah we deffo need to rein that in a bit, Gerrard was a once in a generation talent. Remember watching him on his debut and he passed the ball about 50 yards with the outside of his boot.

It’s a great run slightly reminiscent of Gerrard against Sheff Wed.  The difference being Gerrard slotted obviously.  He’s got the world at his feet and the most important thing for me is that it appears he’s listening to the manager and the coaches because he’s developing quicker and quicker.  He’s a better dribbler than Gerrard was at his age but that’s literally it for me.  Gerrard is the best centre midfielder the premier league has seen so it’s no great shame.

I agree with this. Steven Gerrard had a better passing range, and was much more ‘aggressive’ when defending.
