The narrative that they were unlucky in Europe is pure bollox. Even if PSG didn't get the late penalty two weeks ago they would still have finished below Milan,  in 3rd.

With all the talk of injuries, it is important to note that from their first eleven, only Pope and Botman were missing through injury, last night. A few backups like Targett, Barnes, Murphy and Willock were also out, but you'd swear that the black plague had hit the North-East, given the commentary around them. Tonali is unavailable, not injured, but fuck him anyway. He is only at Newcastle because Milan saw what was coming down the line.

We currently have a first choice centre-back, left back, midfielder (or three if you count Thiago an Bajcetic) & a forward out injured, and there hasn't been a peep about a "crisis". This despite Howe spending £380m in 18 months.

The commentary around a club that have spent so much and are as near Bournemouth as to 4th is mad.

The only tangible achievements they have achieved since spending a fortune has been wasted by finishing 4th in their CL group.

Absolutely delighted for their owners, manager, assistant manager, fans, Joelinton, all of them. Cunts

That Bruno Guimares was shocking on Tuesday night, misplacing passes all night and getting caught on the ball. Not the first time this season that I’ve watched them and been unimpressed with his play. He was excellent last season, so I don’t know what’s happened this year. Is he carrying an injury, or just out of form?

Regrets the move, maybe? Had he waited a season City may have come calling.

Was chop an intentional choice of words there?

In the pre-season predictions I said they'd be lucky to finish top half. Unless they are as lucky this year with injuries as they were last season, I stand by that. They have some very average players in their squad. With 3 games a week, and the intesity they play at, they'll either have to use the same 13 players and risk injury or play weak teams. I think they'll struggle with it.

Howe isnt exactly experienced there either

I posted this in August and it is a genuine delight to see it come to fruition. If they don’t win the Sunderland game and get at least a point from City or Villa, Eddie could be out of a job. The crying cunt

Seen a few things on twitter about sex scandals involving some of their players. There isn't really a consistent story or set of names though

Trippier was out tonight with a "groin strain". I bet he was.

I'm not going to watch that dim-witted bastard but what's his issue. Newcastle deserve nothing they never did and now they no longer exist and Saudi FC is their city's new team they deserves far far less.

He spent the years before the Saudi's criticising oil states buying clubs and ruining football interspersed with various scandals (Calling all Muslims suicide bombers, leaked texts of him asking to be pegged by women and have them shit on him, and other nonsense) that's seen his, at the time, very successful channel haemorrhage viewers, advertising and 'talent' all while having to backtrack on the state owned thing and expecting to be Man City 2.0

One 4th placed finish and sitting in 9th with 7 defeats in 8 while watching the Saudi's attention switch to their domestic league seems to have taken it's toll.
