    Summer 2019 Transfer Thread

Havertz looks like a good player but I don't see him getting a game in centre mid if everyone's fit. Only place he'd play in our front three is in the middle and he's not getting ahead of Bobby there either.

We have too many midfielders already. Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Milner, Keita, Ox, Lallana, Shaqiri for three places. Trent could fill in there too. I was kind of hoping we'd be in touch with Eriksen's agent telling him to sit tight til next year when we could get him on a free but if Atletico are interested i doubt that would work. Next year we'd be losing Milner, hopefully Lallana and maybe one more so he'd be able to come in and provide experience and quality, plus we wouldn't have to deal with Levy.

Hasn't posted since @JurgenHead deleted this account. Stick to the only ITKs you can trust, our very own Paulie and El Rojo.

Report: Villa favourites to sign Harry Wilson

Villa just spent £26.5m on Tyrone Mings so we should be asking for about £80m for Wilson on that scale.

We've been linked with him before a few years ago and we never made a move then. Unlikely to do so now either.

Twitter ITKs have a lot to answer for.

Either way, Eriksen -> Ceballos is a bit of a downgrade, if it happens.

    Summer 2019 Transfer Thread

Ceballos has been agitating for a move away basically since he joined Real. If it's not to us it's to Spurs. He's probably going nowhere.

    Copa America

Just spent half an hour trying to find that Peru away kit on sale anywhere online. Failed dismally.

Not sure there's anywhere for Eriksen to go this summer. He's out of contract next year anyway. Good Milner replacement for us perhaps.

Especially not after we just gave Sporting £54m for Bruno Fernandes, which we definitely definitely did, no way was that Twitter bollocks, not with a story that detailed. Oh no.

Dembele would be one of the few players I'd expect to be genuine competition for Mane and Salah if he came here. Don't see how Barca can afford Neymar though, not even if we give them £90m for Dembele.

Shots from outside the box are overrated. We aren't set up to score that way, and we scored shitloads last season when our front three were fit and firing. I reckon we need cover for them rather than someone who would need us to change our entire (very successful) system. We already have a number 10 who is very creative, very good at getting quality balls into the box, can operate centrally behind a striker or out wide, and who loves a shot from distance. He barely played.

    Liverpool 08/09 & 18/19 Combined XI

I wonder how many of those 0-0s would have been different if Robbie Keane hadn't been shit. For the team in the first post looks good but I'd have Firmino over Torres, because let's face it, Torres would be injured.

I'm sceptical Ndombele will be any better than Mousa Dembele was for them.

I felt completely gutted by his move to Chelsea and I genuinely believe he lost a lot of love for the game when he took the money and went there. The injuries don't properly explain how shit he was for them, he was better for Atleti when he went there and he was older and more injured then. Looking back on it with the benefit of hindsight, he should have retired from international football immediately after the Euro 2008 final. Seemed like every time he went away with Spain after that, he got injured. Maybe we also should have helped him a bit more by not relying on him quite so much. If we'd kept hold of Crouch or had used the Robbie Keane money more wisely, maybe we wouldn't have had to throw him into every match we possibly could, and could have rotated him a bit more throughout the season, to reduce the load on his knees and hamstrings a bit. If we'd been able to keep him and play him up front with Suarez, with Kenny as manager instead of Roy fucking Hodgson, I think he wouldn't have gone anywhere as shit as he did. All water under the bridge now like.

Portuguese league is a lot more physical than Spain. The standard is obviously miles below La Liga but there are a surprising amount of dirty bastards in the Portuguese league.

If Milan are offering any money at all for Lovren we should be snatching their hands off, the guy can't be relied upon to stay fit even when he is fourth choice. He's never started seven consecutive games for us in the four years he's been here.

    2019/20 Fixtures

I think our Christmas games are going to be really hard. West Ham will be good this year and Leicester will be decent at home. Our run in is a twat as well, Arsenal and Chelsea in the last three.
