FSG are not shit

While I don't think FSG are great, there is a divide between the boomer generation that thinks Liverpool can overcome every financial hurdle through hard work and millenials that understand finances determine pretty much everything in life. The Boomers' magical thinking has ruined the planet and maybe it's part of the reason why the fanbase is still overwhelmingly negative.

Think you have that the wrong way round. Boomers know the value of money, work hard for it and see saving for a rainy day as a good policy. Boomers do not expect some rich sugar daddy or bank of mum and dad to bail them out of a financial hole all the time. Millenials on the other hand want it all today and see throwing shitloads of money at a problem as the only way to fix anything.

I'm by no means even a remote fan of FSG but it seems the penny has dropped, the players we seem to be targeting are actually addressing problems in the squad and slowly improving the team.

If we can get Keita in this window and provided we spend the fortune we must have, in the summer window on a top quality attacker and Keeper then I'm happy.

I'm not arsed Coutihno has gone because he didn't want to be here and Klopp wants his players to run through walls for him (plus given the latest interview it seems Klopp wasn't too happy with him).

We'll always be prey to a very small group of clubs in the world, that's just how it is especially with these Latin players. Imagine being a Southampton fan after they way us alone have pillaged them in recent years.

At least we seem to have a football man identifying the players now rather the Gordon etc.

We're slowly establishing a solid looking spine which given the likes of Mane and Salah around it can only bring success.

Fair enough but the failure to address the goalkeeping problem is diabolical, It looks as though yet another window will pass before we get an upgrade, Nowhere near good enough I'm afraid

Yea it should have been sorted in the summer but I'm guessing Klopp wanted to give Karius another go, which has been to the detriment of results because Ming has played. That's one position I'd be amazed if it got sorted in January because you'd have to be mad to sell your keeper mid way through a season.
