Did well last night against Willian, one of the best wide players in the league. Made up for him... I still think his best position is further up the pitch, but he's doing a real solid job at the moment.. made one fantastic tackle too.

I thought he struggled a few times to stop crosses coming in and one of them got past him and into the box at one point but then you look at the fact Willian was taken off and the cross he put in for Origi plus the countless good things that went unnoticed and like the rest of the team, he had a really good game.

Likes him enough to risk him at left back to get him in the team.

 

2 well taken pens and some excellent crosses. Poor control that led to corner and goal. Also fell for snodgrass feint to cross with his right when he was always going back on his left.

 

However, if we'd signed Rodriguez or whoever would we be any better off this season?

Who knows ? It'd cost us £30m to find out though.
