I don't think we could play a different back four but I'm not exactly giddy about seeing a centreback who hasn't established himself as first choice yet playing with three new signings, one of whom has only played seven senior games of football.

I trimmed my balls up real nice last night in anticipation of this match and I expect the same level of commitment out of all our players and even big bush Brendao.

 

Gerrard has been worrying me as a foil for the back four, but he is the best we have at the moment.

 

The thing with the back four is the have to cut out the stupid mistakes. Getting beat is one thing, handing out chances on a silver patter is another.
