That's true. They're a counter attacking team though really aren't they? Which makes their formation in possession slightly less important, and also, because of that, unlike Argentina, they're not attempting to dominate possession in the opposition's half.

The commentator mentioned the worldy he scored against the Mexicans in 2006, to which Lawrenson started talking about the 30-pass goal in that same tournament. The commentator never bothered to correct him by saying that goal was by Cambiasso and not Maxi.

 

It's quite amazing just how much the people involved in bringing us match coverage just do not give a fuck about accuracy. There is a long-established culture of just talking and talking even if you are merely talking shite. Some of them positively revel in how uneducated, lazy and arrogant they sound.
