Just about to install it, actually. Just formatting a spare drive as I'm not going to use it on my SSD 'til I know it's working well.

I tried to make a backup on my external hard drive but there isn't enough space. Im planning on buying a new one soon once this one fills up, but was wondering if a backup is necessary before upgrading to Mountain Lion?

I've installed it on two Macs since release, and had no problems arise. One was backed up.

Still, probably better to be safe than sorry...there'll always be a few lemons.

anybody know where I can download securely Final Draft that will run on this OS?

I may or may not have a copy, which I may or may not send you a link to at some period in the future. I probably won't though. But, just incase, check your inbox at some point soon. But don't really. Or do.

You get the idea.

Or do you.

Yeah, you probably do.
