If that article is true then it is milan and not aquilani taking the piss. I still maintain that he is miles better than henderson and adam.

Doesnt matter who he is better than, the lad does not want to be here but doesnt want to give up his bonuses.

Aquilani had to get to 25 appearances and substitute appearances counted as 0.5. Aquilani made 18 starts for AC Milan and 13 substitute appearances, making 24.5. If he had made 25, then AC Milan would have been committed to paying Liverpool €6m for the player.

If Rodgers wants to play a passing game, i cant see why he wont bring alberto back into the team, infact he would be a fool not to.

The lad can play football and play pass and move. If he wants to revive his career i still think he could be a success here.

I think if Rodgers convinced him he would be part of the first team i think he would be happy to stay here.

We are in for at least £8m in wages over the same period.

As Sgt Wilson used to say in Dads Army: "Do you think that's wise?"

If you offset that against his amortised value on the balance sheet, and any image rights we own on him then it would only just about make sense to release him.

I'm of the opinion that we stick him in the ressies for 2 years, I bet someone would take him off our hands before that period is up.

Make him train twice a day every day, really go to town on the fucking mercenary. Every time he doesn't turn up for training or a match fine him 2 weeks wages(I believe we can only fine him 2 weeks in every 4 unless it is exceptional circumstances).
