I wouldnt mind if we signed Gary Hooper, he is a defintie chance scoring goalscorer and proved it in every level he has competed at, plus a transfer fee of between £5-7 million he is worth the gamble.

Dropping him in the fuck with the whole "Being Liverpool" shite has done him no favours whatsoever, there is enough there to to suggest he can slowly but surely get us back to the top, but as I said, the documentary and even more so replacing Kenny, he is doing ok with the resources available, at least we know that Downing and Henderson will be forgotten in the memory sooner rather than later, if we can get rid that is.

Brazillian Ronaldo reached a peak between 95-97 then came nowhere near that level again, winker Ronaldo seems to be getting better and better and is close to or on the same level as the original. I would go for the later based on those terms.

I would like to ask why there is so few qualified to a sufficent standard around the country, ive heard many arguements that it is not so much the availabilty of courses but the cost of them. Who is going to pay for all these sport science and coaching seminars in the age of financial austerity, where already a complaint is that they are to expensive in the first place, surely to justify the £110 million and to pay for the undoubtedly high running costs the burden will be placed on those using the centre who as I have mentioned have already complained about the cost of coaching courses.

Thats why I advocated for a subsidised coaching course throughout the country do go hand in hand with it, I think you improve the "grass root facilities" first then concentrate on the bigger picture. Isnt that what Clairefonatine do? A central academy for the elite in addition to ten other smaller centres dotted around the country in which they pick from. Instead of throwing their eggs in one gigantic expensive basket.

I reckon £110 million would have been better spent on the hundreds of different boys and girls teams who play on total crud pitches most of the year round with abject facilities to boot added to a subsidised coaching scheme instead of wasting it on fancy dan over hyped training complex to make the F.A look good when various officials and football dignatries from around the world visit on a football jolly.

Then the focus would be all about Rogers losing his cool, blah blah blah, his repsonse was done in a way where the atttention was put on Huth and the vilivication of Suarez rather then a Rogers rant. You seem to be trying to beat him with something that isnt there.

Same old crap we have seen time and time again beginning with Houllier, you can almost feel it in the crowd when there is going to be a 0-0 draw, time and time again we dont seem to have the players to have the drive to get into the middle of the box, thought that had started to change with Sahin but alas......

Seems as if FSG are determined to get rid of all traces of the disaster that Kenny left us with before they part with anymore cash, looks like Henderson will be bumped as well if there is a hells chance of getting Dempsey and Sturridge.

Would love if an idiot came in and offered us around £20 million for Henderson and Downing, they look totally out of their depth. Keep Caroll at all costs though.
