Anyone worried how he'll fit in if Torres leaves?

I can't see him being able to play Torres' role. Think he might need a partner up front with him but our midfield really isn't suited to 442 unless Gerrard plays right, we buy a really pacey, skilful left winger who can cross the ball, with Lucas and Meireles in the middle.

That's the big problem, and while I'm delighted and relieved we have signed Suarez, everything I've read suggests that he isn't going to be able to play the "Torres role" and will be best off supporting Torres. So really, if and when Torres does go, we will still be in all sorts of trouble if we have Eggnog leading the line, becaus he really is shit.

It's such a shame that this exciting signing has been totally overshadowed by this Torres farrago.

Of course, if we get CM reinforcements and another striking option in, then I'm sure we'll all feel a bit happier, but we simply cannot lose our best striker and not replace him with quality.

I've seen rumours of Anelka, but his Premiership form this seaosn has been largely abject, and I doubt he'll want to be a makeweight. Might harm his ego. Plus he's 31.

LIVERPOOL SIGN SUAREZ

Luis Suarez has today completed his transfer from Ajax to Liverpool FC and signed a 5 and a half-year-deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2016.

The club agreed a fee of up to 26.5million Euros with Ajax for the transfer of the Uruguayan international on Friday.

The deal was subject to the completion of a medical, which the player has now passed.

Luis Suarez will wear the No.7 shirt for Liverpool.
