My ex bought tickets to see him not long before covid and obviously everything got cancelled. I was not too keen but being the good husband I was, I just nodded and said sound.

Turns out that the gig was rearranged and is next month in Glasgow and it’s his last tour date apart from Glastonbury and falls on her birthday and Father’s Day and she has asked me if I still want to go.

Ive decided to listen to a bit of his music tonight to decide if I should go or not but will now leave it up to the GF to make the decision for me.

Before anyone asks, we are getting on well and have a little girl but have separated and sex is definitely not on the cards but if it’s a decent night out, I’m game.

Elton or no Elton… the power is in you hands!!!!

Was going to make a poll but I’m on my phone and can’t see any options to make one.

Fuck that.

Hanging about with an ex at some shitty stadium gig, surrounded by wankers, drinking overpriced lager & listening to an OAP who hasn't written a decent song in nearly 50 years.

And no chance of sex?

Again, fuck that.

If I had a brother called Daniel, I’d ask him. As I don’t I say if crocodiles can rock, then you and your ex can get through one Saturday night without fighting.

Enjoy.

This is the circle of life - the sun goes down, the wind blows out the candle and the sacrifice is made. A tiny, sad dancer says so much.

Mick Hucknall and Elton John threads both appear and neither of them are dead. Fuck sake. Up your game, GF.

It's only a matter of time.
