Fuck that was a hard watch at times but I thought we controlled it much better 2nd half, especially the last half hour. One to forget bout and be glad we got the win.

As soon as Thiago came on we controlled the game.

Excellent result from an average performance. First half quite poor, second half still not good but more controlled and with a bit more quality in the final third we could and should have made it easier.

Diffiult conditions, we often struggle in heavy wind, and an opponent that did all they could to make it an aerial battle rather than a game of football.

The kind of games the top teams win.

Nonsense. That was a win with the minimum of energy expended.

If we actually catch City, then goal difference could well be the deciding factor. They scored 4 this weekend and we barely looked like we cared about winning.

Thank god that's over!

Very well-managed game in the second half, given the ghastly conditions.

Some players need to treat Mo's pointing as a suggestion rather than an order as to where to play the ball - there was often no space to get the ball to him in those situations. All in all, though, job done.

The conditions were horrendous and Burnley are fighting for their lives. Everyone knows in this league you can't batter everyone every game, based on certain conditions.

We were poor in the first half and it was hard, then adjusted well in the second.

Its a fucking horrible place to go and a horrible team to play against especially in shite conditions and smack bang in the middle of a crazy run of games - including the mad amount of games and minutes salah and mane have played lately.

To come away with 3 pts and seemingly unscathed on injury front is spot on.

On we go.
