I'd like to think that this horrendous run and 10th place finish will shut them up. No doubt when they sign some Real Madrid or Barcelona cast off in the summer they will start piping up again.

They are like clockwork.

And it's great!

I reckon he might not turn up for training after the Copa.

Yeah, but he’s got a trillion followers on Instagram and will make Everton a huge brand!

Everyone who paid any attention to Carlo at Napoli could see he done little but top up his retirement fund while there. But he did make it hard in our European games so that was good enough. His 2 league titles in the past 10 years where with Bayern and PSG. He did fuck all with Napoli really

They doubled his wages as well daft cunts.

Anything more predictable then the shite bending over for a brown parade. Reminds me of when arsenal beat them four nil in wenger's first title win and Tony Adams tore through their entire team despite being 147 years old to provide Martin Tyler with a verbal wankathon.

Never the bride, not even the bridesmaid, just a fluffer. And they seem to enjoy it. Imagine that being your only contribution to the winning of silverware in the recent history books? To get bummed for the benefit of the last five minutes of someone else's end of season dvd.

Fairly certain Arsenal had a man sent off early on in that game as well.

If you asked most Bliues at the start of the season what they would choose:

10th, Reds scrape into the Champions League and don't win a cup and Everton win at Anfield

7th, qualify for the Europa League, Reds finish 3rd, beat you at Anfield as usual

You would be hard pushed to find a blue who wouldn't rip your arm off for the first option. They should be over the moon.

It must have been said a dozen times on here before, but Everton fans, particularly given their aversion to banter, should consider themselves lucky that, outside of Liverpool, they support a nothing club that no-one really thinks or talks about - because, given the money they've spent and the arrogant swagger of their fans whenever they win a game, splash the cash or sign another big club reject, the mocking the likes of Spurs and Arsenal get would pale into insignificance compared to what would come their way if people remembered they actually exist.

davek, as always, knows exactly what he's talking about:

Player Valuation: £80m
Liverpiool securing CL footy with that lot. Now I'm not polishing a turd when I say this: that qualification this season with those players will cemet them in place and stop the rebuilding they really are in need of if they want to compete for the major trophies.

Liverpool will now extend contracts to a lot of players who are coming to the end of their career / end of their development. And they wont be spending massive on new players. That's just not how FSG roll.

Doldrums for this lot for a few years.

Lest any of you begin to worry, here are some examples of the previous predictions of davek:

Chelsea will need pretty much one win if Liverpool fail to win tonight. IMO United will roast these - they are a team set up to batter Liverpool's appalling defence.

It effectively ends tonight...but they still cant give up the chase, and will end up securing a EL spot.

Burnley will destroy them.

Dyche hates him and will have his lot eyeballs out looking of a result.

This is the Liverpool rubbish that's stunk the season out.

Burnley will rag them all over Turf Moor.

What's fundamentally changed? They'll slip up against Palace.
