  1. Sounds like you go to a gym full of cunts TBH. I'd far rather be somewhere where people just got on with their own shit, and not passing judgement other everyone else. And how do you know how about people's routines anyway, how far they're driving in, for how long, where they're going after the gym?
  2. It's not a scam, and just because some people don't use gyms that doesn't make gym's a bad product or service. If you don't like going to gym's then fine, but plenty of people do, and if others pay for them but don't go then that's on them. You seem to have some weird beef with gym's!
  3. If people decide not to go to a gym that they've paid for that doesn't make the gym a scam, so long as the gym is fulfilling its side of the deal, like actually being open and providing the facilities it promotes. What about companies that sell home gym equipment that people pay for, have delivered and set up but then don't use because they can't be arsed. Are those companies a scam? If people find or prefer other ways to exercise then great, but plenty of people prefer the gym to running around in the cold streets dodging pedestrians or doing workouts with bags of cement, or can't afford or have the space for a home gym.
  4. That reminds me, if it's Ok for an openly racist anti-Semitic parasitical pondlife like PO to stay on here, then at least I can ban him in my own little way.
  5. I take it you've been blacklisted from your local gyms then.
  6. Thank fuck for that. For some reason my ignore settings had changed, but it's all good now.
  7. He trained and worked as a human rights lawyer, often taking pro-bono cases, like the McLibel one, when the little people couldn't pay for their defence, so I think he's got something about him. This portrayal of him as some right-wing, kid-starving, baby-slaughtering ogre is not something that comes from serious people. But, if Labour win the election, he's not going to throw off his suit, don some workers overalls and start calling every cunt 'comrade' either. He'll rule as a moderate centre-left leader, in much the same way Blair did. I for one, would have no problem with that.
  8. I think you're doing Starmer a disservice by laying Labour's lead solely at the Tories failings. Sure, they've fucked up big, but, whether it's covid, 'magic money trees' or Israel/Gaza, Starmer has avoided pretty much every elephant trap laid for him, either by the Tories or their friends in the media. At every turn he's got them on the back foot, taking the centre ground when they hoped he would be another leftie they could paint as the enemy of the country. He's occupied the centre so successfully that the Tories have gone further to the right for votes, but even the right aren't interested anymore, not when they've flopped on things like immigration and law and order. His whole strategy is about winning the election, not appeasing the likes of Owen Jones. From a proposals and policies POV I can't argue with anyone who doesn't agree with him, but he's been a pretty good strategist to my mind. Ever noticed how the Tories biggest attack lines towards Starmer are his previous record as a 'leftie human rights lawyer' and the fact he served under Corbyn? They've got fuck all on him, because he's given them fuck all.
  9. The fact he even says that, as if having a 'clear vision' in itself is an achievement, and something she's got over an opponent, so desperate was he to do Starmer down, even if it meant bigging up Liz Fucking Truss. What a cunt he was and is. "Hitler, unlike Churchill, had a clear vision on the Jews (however much you dislike it)."
  10. Yeah yeah , fuck off JK Bowling, your contributions here have been full of the worst one-sided, ill-informed biased views, masquerading as facts, much like your posts on the covid threads. You might not be as openly racist as that cunt @Planet Origi but you're just as malign. Speaking of which... You still here, you racist hate-filled cunt? Not been banned yet? You're a stain on this forum.
  11. Bastani telling us how Truss had a clear vision for the economy, which puts her above that imbecile Starmer, when retweeting a post from Stats For Lefties telling us that the public thought she could better build a strong economy. Ah, thems was the days...
  12. "My literature is above Shakespeare" and "The great Edgar Allen Poe couldn't write this good".
  13. From my observations, it seems that, on either side of this, the proportion of people that have a genuine concern with Palestinian life is tiny compared to the amount of people that are using this to propagate their own well-entrenched and immovable views on Israel/Islam/the West/the Middle East. And in one particularly stupid cunt's case, the Labour Party! I really don't need to look any further than the abomination that is this thread to see evidence of that. And in that context it really wasn't surprising in the slightest to see cunts who've been throwing stones at 'the West' for not calling for a ceasefire earlier now defending the Russians and China for vetoing a US call for a ceasefire, and parroting their propaganda like the shills they are.
  14. Also, how the fuck have I got that cunt @Gnasher on my timeline again? He's still on my ignore list, but every other thread I open now I'm having to scroll through the obligatory 10 posts a page full of his copy and paste comments from the likes of Tribune and all the twats on Left Twitter that he passes off as considered content and his own views.
  15. Even more bizarre is the idea that the Israeli's would pay Lammy any money to abstain on a ceasefire vote when, A, how Lammy votes isn't going to make the slightest bit of difference to how they operate, B, Lammy would be bound by the party whip as a shadow minister, C, they could have got him to vote against the motion for half of that. The shit that people believe when it suits what they want to believe is fucking outstanding levels of delusion.
  16. I'd be interested to know what the Green Party make of the page he's set up for donations that he says will go to, among others, selected Green Party candidates. People who donate only have a finite amount of money to give to political causes, and I'd be surprised if the GP were happy with money that might otherwise be going to them to distribute going instead to Jones to decide what Green candidates meet his criteria for donations, because not all of them will. I can see a situation where GP candidates, desperate for campaign funds, end up twerking for Jones, possibly going against the party line and pissing off colleagues along the way. I see Zack Polanski's wasting no time here. Zach, BTW, said he couldn't vote Labour when Corbyn was leader because he was an anti-semite. A view he still holds. It's a crazy old game on the left.
  17. I think that was Bruce or SD. Someone else above pointed out today that where Corbyn went wrong was not kicking out the 'traitors' in the party when he became leader. I'd argue his leadership was doomed from the off for many reasons, but I agree that he was too weak dealing with dissent among the ranks. Which is why I can understand why Starmer's fucked off the elements in his party that, intentionally or not, through their words and actions ultimately undermine his cause of making Labour (relatively) united and electable again.
  18. I'm not sure about Jones not liking Corbyn, but he did argue that Corbyn should stand down as leader because he wasn't up to the job and would lose the election. One of the few political judgement calls he got right, ironically so considering he's been riding the Corbyn wave ever since. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/mar/01/corbyn-staying-not-good-enough What I find confusing, though, is that Jones has been a member for so long, throughout the Blair years of the 'third way' and centrism, budget restraint, cosying up to the right wing press and to the wealth creators, the ending of Clause 4, the bombing of Iraq, yet these are the reasons he gives for leaving Labour under Starmer - and bear in mind Labour haven't even won the election yet!
  19. They certainly don't seem to be interested in compromise or reality. There's a lot to be said for taking the best option available, than ending up with the worst because the best isn't on offer. It's adult behaviour. I wasn't overly taken with Corbyn or his front bench, yet I got behind them and voted Labour (and had it out with other Labour voters who couldn't get behind them under Corbyn) because, well, the stone-cold reality is that the next government was going to be them or the Tories, and another five years of them cunts didn't bear thinking about. And now we've all seen the results of those five years. Yet there's people, on the left, who've convinced themselves that they're both the same (some argue Labour are worse because 'you know where you stand with the Tories'), and campaigning to vote for a hung parliament! Leaving aside the impossibility of doing that, what kind of cunt who claims to care about the poor, the disadvantaged, the downtrodden, would turn down the once in a lifetime opportunity to drive a big fucking stake through the heart of the Conservative Party? Yet, here we are.
  20. I'm guessing you were whingeing about the Labour opposition in 97 too, when the Tories had run the country into the ground, and didn't see the point a Labour party that promised to stick to the Tories spending budget and had Mandelson saying how incredibly relaxed he wad about people getting rich. Looking back, do you think Blairs government were no different from the Tories, as so many socialists argued then?
  21. Maybe we should stop talking about corrupt politicians behaving corruptly. Or at least not raise it on the appropriate threads.
  22. With the London Mayoral election coming up, the Tories have decided to use London's apparently dying nightlife as a theme to attack Khan on. Thing is, apart from them highlighting streets that have never had much in the way of bars and clubs, I'm wondering who exactly they're hoping to win over, given the average Tory is over 60 and, in London, lives in the suburbs.
  23. Have a couple of reps on me, big man.
  24. The Tories desperately trying to 'move on' from this, fist by adopting the head in the sand approach, now, after serious pressure (and probably Badenoch breaking ranks for her own political gain) acknowledging Hester's remarks were racist but he's not racist and he's apologised so it's time to move on. You can see what paper's are still supporting the cunts by looking at the front papers to see what coverage this story is getting. They should give the donations back if they've got anything about them, which means they won't.
  25. I've no doubt there's a legitimate reason for it and far be it for me to criticise the Tories unduly, but from an optics POV, seeing Canary Wharf, one of the most expensive pieces of real estate in Britain and about half a square mile in size, getting more money (£242m) from the government than Wales (£170m) is next level mental. And funded from the 'levelling up' fund too.
