Hilarious to see the Tories celebrating a statue of Nancy Astor.

Wonder if we will get anything on the media about her being a massive Anti Catholic and Anti Semite who thought Hitler could help with the Communist and Jewish problem.

The Tories couldn’t give two shits about British jews, same as they don’t give two shits about anyone else in this country other than themselves. The only thing that makes Jeremy Corbyn ‘dangerous’ is his opinion on the Israel/Palestine conflict and the British establishment has gleefully played along with the Israel lobby purely so they can each continue to feather their own nests.

Apologies for cutting out some of your original post but wanted to focus on these paragraphs. Spot on summary of GE campaign to date. Two weeks is a long time in politics can only hope voters based on what they saw last night (utter contempt for environment, voters  and the future of our children) come round to some kind of realisation of what is going to happen above and beyond Brexit if we have another 4 to 5 years of conservative government. Well said.

Just scanned through Gnasher, Pollard and Riley’s latest tweets. Not a peep. Really sad.

@jimwaterson: Just in...

BBC sources say they have refused the Conservatives' offer to put the prime minister on Andrew Marr this Sunday until he agrees a date for the Andrew Neil interview.

They should have put him on Marr and once he was sat down had Neill come and sit next to Marr so they could take turns grilling him.

What the fuck is he on about???? he is asked if he is going to revote Fox Hunting and now he is going on about shark fin soup?!

The man is an idiot. I'm almost bereft of hope for this country when we would even consider voting such a moronic leader and such a nasty party into power!

Then Labour again. Is it possible for them to answer them any policy question by answering it without deflecting to Labour being bad ?

They can't defend their policies so just deflect and attack, yet never, ever get pulled up on it.

Completely ignored the questions as usual and didn't even touch on the Andrew Neil question the fucking coward!

I have changed my position on this and hope he doesnt do it. Plenty of commentators (bar Laura ) keeping subject in public domain. Yes it would be a welcome car crash if it went ahead however while this rumbles on surely voters are getting an insight into the character of the man and more importantly what those closest to him think of him.
