I've always loved that story of Keith Moon collapsing while playing the drums and then a 19 year old lad in the audience taking over but I'd never actually seen it. Boss stuff.

The boy gets up and goes straight on to the hit hat, which Moon hardly ever touched, always find that hilarious. Hats off to the boy though, I read an interview with him from a few years back and it was really funny.

How does spotify work then? I'm asking for a mate who's an old cunt and has a natural aversion to anything on the internet that isn't TLW or porn.

It's free music.

Did I mention that it's free ?

Its good

Its also worth the membership money to be honest.

You can just download anything to your phone and listen offline too

that's brilliant - hadn't seen that before

It's brilliant that there's footage of it to watch but I think it's quite sad in that it shows how much Pete Townshend thought of Keith Moon as a drummer, can you imagine Led Zeppelin going on with a gig if John Bonham collapsed (he did, after three songs in Nuremberg in 1980 & they cancelled it). I'm pretty sure Townshend made some disparaging comments about his drumming after he died as well, only nowadays he seems to have the realisation of what they had on their hands there, which is a shame I think.

I've spent the entire day in a cellar as an extra in my mates band's promo video shoot, it was a Fight Club inspired thing with stunt men, make up, hot girls and me standing about like a spare prick in a cellar when it was the first day of summer outside.

I'll post it on here when it's finished, it looked really good from what I saw.

They're called The Rising Souls by the way.

The new Jesus & Mary Chain album is far better than it has any right to be.

They haven't moved on musically at all and it's all the better for it.

released also on cassette would you believe. got the orange signed LP which wasn't much more on pre release.

hope it's as good as Munki, played that a fair bit. will give it a bash at the weekend

Good review of the Orrible Oo at the Echo Arena last night....I know Townshend and Daltrey are 73 and 72 but they still put on a bloody good show with energy and a fair bit of edge...

Well as much edge as two guys their age can
