Bit of reason here: before Torres decided to lump us in the shit with a last minute transfer request, net spend this window was looking to be around £24m (Adam & Suarez in, Babel out). We've been forced to rush out and buy an overpriced although nevertheless good signing in Carroll. What the hell else are they supposed to do? If there's any "disgrace" it needs sending in FT's direction not FSG's.

Fucking spot on. Torres has put the club in a terrible position, and he was fully aware of the consequences of his selfish fucking actions. The club should be applauded in how quickly and decisively they've moved to bring reinforcements in.
