No mention of A Bronx Tale yet? fucking love that film, more of a coming of age story with a Mafia backdrop.

You probably already know this but Calogero in Bronx Tale is played by the same actor as Matthew Bevilaqua in Sopranos (the friend of Chris' who ends up shooting him and gets whacked by Tony & Sil). In real life the actor is doing time for his part in a Burglary turned murder. Can't remember his real name though.

Here come the pain!

To be fair he was boss in donnie brasco and any given sunday

Yes he was good in Donnie Brasco but still not enough to save it from the appaling faux British pirate.

Any Given Sunday was ok but not my type of thing and nothing special given its subject matter.

Far too many Turkeys in recent times,oh for the days of Serpico and Dog Day Afternoon.

forget what the films about mate, ere talking about his acting ability. he is the best ere of that there is no doubt.

top 5 actors has to be

Pacino

Hanks

Nicholson

De Niro

Eastwood

I was mate.

Any Given Sunday was a good performance but not great in my opinion but sometimes a great performance cant rescue a bad performance from another actor or even a poor script.

Currently Pacino seems to be doing both.
