Dominik Szoboszlai will be assessed further after he was ruled out of Liverpool’s trip to Arsenal due to injury.

 

The No.8 scored while making his first start since New Year’s Day following a hamstring problem in the Reds’ 4-1 win over Chelsea in midweek, but is absent from Sunday’s matchday squad at Emirates Stadium.

 

Jürgen Klopp told Sky Sports pre-match: “Dom felt in the same area, or pretty much a similar area, to where he was injured before.

 

“Not in the game, he was fine, and then after the game [he felt it] slightly so we had a look at it and there was now no chance for him to be involved in this game.

 

“We cannot take any risk. We have to wait for further assessment but it was clear that he cannot be involved today. That’s it, pretty much.”

The Szoboszlai stuff screams was getting managed/wasn't playing every game at his former clubs and his body is taking the increase in minutes difficult.

His off the ball work is immense where as Gravenberch looks a bit lost and when he loses the ball has a little hissyfit rather than putting it to bed and getting back into shape. I think he will be a boss player for us but he's just slightly off.

Except for facts that he featured in 31 matchday squads out of 34 in league last season - the 3 he missed he was suspended for - started 28 of the 31 and was subbed in for other 3....Playing 2,452 mins.

 

Started all 8 of their european cup games...playing 657 mins

 

And started all 6 of their DFB Pokal games playing 510 mins.

 

And played the full 90 of their german super cup game.

 

Total of 3,709 mins.

 

But yeah apart from that you are right....
