You're not dropping Mac Allister or Szoboszlai for Gravenberch and he's not going to get a consistent run in the #6 so for a player who's wasted a year and needs to play it would be an odd move..

More like GravenBENCH, amirite?

PSV look to be bringing back Hirving Lozano. If Bakayoko is for sale we should be in on that as a potential Salah replacement.

Watched him against Rangers last week and didn't look anything special at all.

Phillips could leave Liverpool on loan.

Liverpool defender Nat Phillips could leave on loan this week with Middlesbrough among a number of clubs keen to secure his services.

The Championship outfit have registered their interest in the 26-year-old centre-back, who is desperate to play regular first-team football.

Phillips has made 29 senior appearances for Liverpool since being handed his debut by Jurgen Klopp in January 2020, but he featured on just five occasions in all competitions last season. He has previously had loan spells at Stuttgart and Bournemouth.

Earlier in the summer, there was interest in Phillips from Leeds United and Feyenoord among others.

Liverpool have been willing to listen to both permanent and loan offers for Phillips, who has two years remaining on his contract.

Phillips came close to leaving at the end of both the summer and window transfer windows last season but on each occasion, Klopp needed him to stay put to provide cover due to injuries to other defenders.

If Phillips is leaving we MUST be bringing in another centre back?

Why?

He hasn't even made the bench in eons. Played maybe 200 minutes of top flight footy in the last 3 seasons.

That's like saying we will be in for a new CB because we loaned out Rhys Williams.

He is the break glass in case of emergency option.

If we let him go and don't bring anybody in it's madness. We don't even have the option of dropping Fabinho in to the back four like we did a few years ago.

Anyone know if these Sports Zone cats are prime bullshitters? Arnaud, you’re up.

Heh, heh, heh.

Stephen Warnock (ex liverpool footballer) (currently employed by LFCTV) has claimed Liverpool’s £111m bid for Caicedo was a PR stunt by FSG to keep the Liverpool fans happy for a little while knowing full well he was on his way to Chelsea…

That’ll go down well with the club
