As long as it continues yeah. If we have 4 or 5 players getting into double figures we will be fine. Usually though the team with the highest scoring attack wins you the league. Us with Suarez/Sturridge excluded, but then i think City had 3 players in the top 10 scorers. Aside from that i think one will have to go back a long time where the best attack didnt win you the league.

Mane seems key to how well we're doing in attack. We've coped without Firmino, Sturridge and Coutinho at various times, but Mane is golden child.

I'd be surprised if we bought more than one senior player. A full back to cover both sides would seem the most likely. I can't see us buying any attacking players unless we have a long term injury. Klopp will likely work with what he's got.

Id rather not see anyone brought in as it looks like Klopp's got a small settled squad who want to play for each other  and he's shown he's not going to listen to any advice from outside for throwing money round like confetti on new flavours of the month.

 

Saying that, I can see the likes of Chelsea or West Ham come in with an offer for Sakho in January so hopefully we can get a decent profit on him as they're desperate for decent centre halves and, if we can get Gomez fit & he recaptures the form he showed before the injury, he could develop nicely with what our other CB's and save us quite a few quid in the future.

 

Next summer I can see Sturridge & Ings defo going and probably multiple migs if the new keeper doesn't fuck up, so there'll be a few spots to fill then which hopefully, we get right.
