The Bridge: Series 2. 9/10.

Had the entire series recorded when it was on BBC2 and accidentally erased it. Just caught up with it and finished it now. Just quality entertainment.

Roll on Series 3.

Can't see how Series Three will work without the big man.

"The Last Man on Earth" is ace. January Jones is in it as well, what more do you want?

Well, a better TV show for a start.

Fear The Walking Dead - 6.5/10. Has potential. Set in LA, so no idiotic hicks everywhere.

very slooooow....

most of it is actually filmed in Vancouver - only the panoramic shots are of LA.

edit: 'set in LA' - yes, correct. Must read more carefully.

Pilot was shot in L.A. Seems a bit silly to film in Vancouver, I know tax breaks etc, when L.A. has such a distinctive look that could easily differentiate it from the mother show.

I watched it - loads of it was shot in Vancouver, but Wiki says you're right ??? Maybe I saw something other than the pilot because it definitely was Vancouver.

I think they often re-film pilots once they are picked up, even sometimes changing cast members. I think if they were to film the whole series in Vancouver it would make sense for continuity reasons to remake the pilot.

Just watched the first episode of Narcos on Netflix about Pablo Escobar, all ten episodes were released today.

Very good opener and looks like it's going to be ace. 8.5/10 for the first one.

It's got the feel of a docudrama but the guy who plays Escobar is pretty damn good.

Just couldn't get into it, myself.

Personally I thought it was poor and jibbed it after the first season. Jon Voight is good in it but it's quite grim and it's hard to feel arsed about any of the characters.

Thanks. It had a decent rating on IMDB. That's similar to how I feel about House Of Lies.

Narcos - Very good and extremely well acted 7.5/10.

I watched episode 1 on Saturday morning when having my breakfast. I've just finished episode 8.

No surprise to hear me say I've really enjoyed it. Well acted and well structured, really good stuff. It's the first Netflix original programme that I've watched but I'll be keeping my eye open for other stuff from them.

9/10

That "Jungle Atlantis" on BBC2 on Sundays is very good. The latest technology they used (Lidar) to reconstruct Angkor was amazing. I wish this technology had been around when I was studying myself.

10/10.
