Anybody who watches Westworld the series really should watch the old film first. Its miles behind in special effects but it does give you a good idea of what its all about. Its the type of sci fi I actually enjoy.

Watched the first couple of Luke Cage episodes. Yes, the soundtrack is indeed ace. There's a comprehensive playlist on Spotify, if anyone is interested.

As for Cowboy films how about The Good the Bad and the Ugly? Unforgiven? Fistful of Dollars/Dynamite?

There are some great westerns alongside the shite.

 

Yep, there are some good uns I'll admit that but Ive found since I passed 16 years of age, the genre doesnt appeal to me any more. I'll stick with westworld (there are supposed to be two other 'worlds' ie Roman and Middle Ages afterall) for more episodes to see where its headed but the story line was typical jj abrams crap in my opinion.

I don't think so, the series seems to be already moving away from the film. There's a subplot around god/maker and the ulterior motive in continually upgrading the robots.

I think the TV version has switched it up. The humans will probably be the ones that are more awry, with Ed Harris almost Yul Brynner like.

Can you recommend a sports add on that is good for the unmentionable?

I use a paid add on for live sport (StreamTV Box) but there are loads of decent freebies. Halow Live TV usually has plenty of decent stable streams, often in hd.
