Defour joined Anderlecht.

I see Defour was sent off in Belgium for two offences of kicking the ball into the crowd.

He was returning to his old club, Standard, with Anderlecht, and the Standard fans decided to have a banner to mark his decision to play for their rivals, which was emblazoned with the words "red or dead" and a picture of a machete wielding masked man holding Defour's decapitated head.

Think the hatred and occasion got to Defour (and he literally lost his head).

Bit full on from the Standard fans though.

In the AFCON, Ivory Coast beat Cameroon 1-0, and Guinea drew 1-1 with Mali in the other group game. Guinea and Mali both finished on 3 points after three 1-1 draws apiece, so the African federation are going to draw lots tomorrow to decide which of the two will join Ivory Coast in the knockout stage.

Yep, Atleti players losing their cool big-time. For those pining for Simeone to become our next manager, I think they need to consider the possibility of half our squad being suspended at any given time (as well as the manager spending most of his time in the stands too). Great entertainment seeing them taking on Barca and Real though.
