Frighteningly thick, but I bet if they asked similar questions of your average man and woman on British streets, they'd be much the same !
I disagree, our geography knowledge is far better. Maybe if asked similar political questions though we may struggle, I have to admit I don't know who is part of the axis of evil.

Agreed, it's well known that the majority of Americans don't have a passport as everything they need is right there in the good 'ol U, S of A. I didn't know about the axis of evil either but I'm sure if Tony Blair had been harping on about it for years instead of Bush then I probably would have.
