Lots of local breweries now everywhere in France, in Paris too.

You can drink good French beers now, which is more incredible than a Red quadruple …

I was in LBF, Les Cuves de Fauve & Le Barbylone when I was last over a couple of months back.

I'm back again in a month or so, sadly not football related, where should I head as the Paris I knew well is over a decade or so back?

You can’t receive PM’s.

Yeah, so I was both right and wrong to criticise @dave u for this.

I had 100 messages in my inbox that I didn’t delete over 5 years. However at the same time, a lot of them were from Dave; demanding I retract various slanderous comments I’ve made on the forum.

You mean statements of truth Shirley?

Could anybody recommend a decent place to watch it if the aren’t successful in the ballot?

I’ve seen the below, some of the bars look alright and that there won’t be a big screened fan park…

…I know a lad who used to work in Paris. I sent him this list and he said he’d never heard of any of them!

Sure there are rumours every year saying there won't be a fan park and that always turns out to be bollocks?

There will be a fan park. Like Kiev and Madrid, there are no plans for a big screen.

I fully understand you have difficulties differentiating fact and fiction.

If people were successful in the Madrid final ballot, will they have lower priority, or is it all a random free for all, do we know?

Free for all. Given I got nothing for Basel, Kiev, Madrid or Saturday, I think I’m due a successful entry.

I was successful for the Man City semi but I genuinely don’t know anybody who wanted to go to that game who didn’t.

Lush bar is where the  French branch members meet but it’s really small.

The Belushy is said to be great. It’s really big and the location is perfect, on the Ourc canal where you can drink your lager cans from Carrefour.

Pubs like cross of St. George’s or the Bombardier are nice places but it’s small, you gotta be there early and with not many friends.

A good pub would be Le ballon vert , rue Montreuil , in the XII, it’s big, good ales and it’s not far from Oberkamp where it’s lively to eat and drinks to celebrate no 7.

Cheers, much appreciated.

Kop Bar obviously stands out for its name, it seems an LFC bar from the website and it’s on the main road to the stadium.

I see there are two Belushi’s. We’re staying near the GDN, I’ll check out the other.

I see you can book the Belushi’s as well. Might be an idea.

No great pubs like the Baltic fleet or the ship and mitre in Paris though.

Paris is a city of nice for cafés or restaurants, it sucks for pubs, even though it’s better than it used to be.

I meant the Belushi by the Crimée Métro. The area is really great really.

Koop bar is good too btw.

How big is it? Sounds the biggest at 500+ but the photos on the website don’t suggest it’s anywhere near that big.

Does look very easy to get to the ground from there.
