@Ne Moe Imya

I mean, I know they are sneaky bastards but how do you get a hold of a fellas underpants?

It wasn't even that hard. Apparently he was in the habit of handing in clothing to the hotel he was staying in to be washed (which, of course, they knew about as they had been following him to these hotels for 3 years).

They probably replaced the laundry worker with one of their own and from there it was a piece of piss. The amazing thing is that he's still alive. It hasn't been widely reported but apparently when the pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Omsk, "someone" called in a bomb threat to the airport. The airport was evacuated of all civilians, but Navalny's plane landed anyway and the medics were on hand to administer the antidote. And that, as the poisoner said, turned out to be the difference between life and death.

Some bollocks on the fella, it must be said. He swears he's going back to Russia as soon as his rehab is complete. I'm not normally a betting man but I'd be shocked if he's still alive 3 years from now if he does.

So he did go back to Russia, and was immediately arrested at the airport.

Mostly for the crime of not having the decency to just die when the state decided to poison him, I guess. Officially the reason is that he didn't appear for a parole hearing (you know, because of the whole being poisoned thing).

It's actually so outrageous that even the most cynical people in the world, the Russians, are irate. Protests all over the country today, mostly peaceful but people are seriously angry.

CNN)A top doctor at the Russian hospital where opposition leader Alexey Navalny was treated immediately after his poisoning last summer has died, the hospital said on Thursday.

Sergey Maximishin, who was the deputy chief physician of the Omsk emergency hospital, "suddenly" died at the age of 55, according to a statement released by the hospital.

Anyone been to Russia? We went to St Petersburg and did the whole tourism thing, was like someone put Venice in the middle of an 80s Liverpool and then pumped it all up.

Always been intrigued by how people live over there in the absolute wilds though, my mate lived in Siberia when he was studying and said you'd just be walking through the park and there'd be a homeless bloke just frozen to death on the floor. Said the people were sound though and had a similar sense of humour.

He had to go to dinner with the local gangster and his wife though, whether he wanted to or not, seemed to be a pride thing for the bloke to show off 'his' city. Saw some pictures of him and he looks like a fat Pete Price in an oversized 90s suit from a car boot sale. Bird wasn't that fit either, but still too good for him.

If this is legitimate aggression then it invokes article 5 of the NATO agreement meaning we consider Russia an aggressor against the pacts and collectively act in the support of a protected  nation in the face of hostility.

Good times...

Listening to some analysis about it earlier and no one has any idea what the fuck he’s up to, maybe just pushing boundaries, but hey-ho.

Russia spend too much on the tip of the sword that the rest is pretty blunt. They'd get fucking battered if they started a war. Unless it was just fist fights in which case they'd probably twat everyone apart from Glasgow and certain subburbs in Liverpool where they'll just get told to fucking do one.

Without Nukes the Russians would last about four days against the yanks, if that.

They're already winning wars, just not in the old fashion sense.

They have 85,000 troops ready to go in the area above, this along with the Crimea bullshit shows he/they don't give a fuck.

Champions League wars aren't fought on the ground unfortunately for Russia.

The Russians know they can get away with it, they annexed half of Ukraine and nobody did anything. Pure Hitler shit.

No financial gain in stopping them. If Ukraine had enough oil they'd be getting freedom.

They influenced Brexit vote, the GE, two US presidential elections, a lot of east European politics, large swathes of Africa in both cyber and infrastructure/soft power projects.

This is not factoring in the current power play they are living out with the Sputnik vaccine.

Just because they don't have bayonets doesn't mean they're not aggressors.
