We certainly didn't see the best of him, and he didn't sign with us to fail. But, for whatever reason, it hasn't worked out. Would love the inside story on his time here.

Secrets Revealed On Inside Story Of Balotelli's Year at LFC

By TLW's Paul

He was fucking shit and not arsed. For a full year.

It's annoying (but inevitable) it's only a loan as the circus will be back in a year, Milan must be pissing themselves.

I thought if it didn't work out we could still get at least half of our money back and we could still do in a year if he has a good season (i.e. he scores the odd penalty...) but it's been a massive failure of a transfer all round. When you think of his return on the pitch and all the crap that comes with him off it and the attention he's attracted when he's not even playing it has to be up there with the worst transfers in our history.

I am not interested in the inside story . There isn't one

He has no work ethic and if things don't go right for him in the first five minutes he gives up.

Ridiculous signing done in desperation that I and many others were dead against and we got what we deserved in thinking we could pollish a turd

So we gave Milan 16m for Balotelli and they have got him back with us paying half his wages a year later.

We are boss at this transfer lark aren't we

We sold Luis Suarez for £75 million and our attacking signings to replace him were Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic, Mario Balotelli and Divock Origi for £71 million.

It's fair to say we are boss at this transfer lark.
