Mo just been named player of the month - apparently the first time anyone's won it 3 times in the same season. I don't know if that means in the Premier League or ever!

Just to soften the blow for Kane winning the golden boot for his 41 league goals retrospectively awarded to him after he told the FA he thought the ball may have glanced his ear because he heard a slight whistling sound. Later he admits suffering from tinnitus

I think all end of season awards should be won by whoever has had the most player of the month awards, I haven’t checked myself but I think someone said De Bruyne hasn’t won it once this season, clearly he’s been the second best player this year so I can see where my argument for this way of doing it is flawed, people will say that De Bruyne could have been 2nd every month and someone different have a freak month every month to make him not win it, I get that bit but if someone like Salah has won it three times in a 9 month football calendar then it’s safe to say that he’s been the best over the season.

Stevie has the joint most with 6 player of the month awards, over his entire 17 year career.

 

Salah has 3 in 8 months, incredible.
