  1. 1. What do you want?

    • Concentrate efforts on the league
    • Concentrate efforts on Europe
    • Both
    • Rafa back- with G&H staying and Rick Parry reappointed. You can have Phil Thompson as a coach too.

Very unbalanced team, badly organized through the middle with no sense of an attacking tactic, no way of providing service to Torres that he can run onto. Granted he's not as his best, but even at his best he'd struggle without being given anything to work with.

Oh well, drawing away in Europe is always defensible as a decent result. We may have been crap, but there's no sense imploding today.

Not that thats likely to stop some of you...

Yeah, completely agree with you.

It would be a lot easier to feel comfortable if we played well and drew 0-0 though.

We played like Barcelona last season compared to this season. It`s incredible dull, cowardly and boring, and I wonder what Roy`s team talks are like. It seems he bigs up every opposition to the level our lads are terrified to play.

And for someone who is so eager to rest and protect players 3 matches into the season, he sure needs to learn about a part of football called substitutes and substitutions. There is a reason why you are allowed to have all these players on the bench Roy. They are not spectators.

I admit I never wanted Roy, but I was praying he would prove my sceptisism wrong, and he may very well still do so, as it`s still early days, but so far he has just confirmed and strenghtened every concern I had about him taking over.

Im sick of this season already, and just wants it to end.

Rafa

In 2 of his 6 seasons in England he topped the table of most prolific managers in terms of substitution and taking twists to the game thanks to perfectly timed new players introductions on the field. His subs scored 50 goals in 3.5 years, don't if it accounts only for the league though, while Houller made 40 goalscoring subs in 5.5 years. Rafa definitely lost the plot at the end, confused his die-hards with silly subs and unjustified decisions, but even Evertonians used to give credit for great subs in the past in L'Pool Echo. And compared them with Moyes, who couldn't orchestrate a succesful comeback in well over 50 games.

Kelly played on his weaker side and it exposed him enough to show him up. He got played by the right winger all game. That really isn't a criticism. The only thing that the winger had over him was experience. Kelly's a smart enough lad to learn from that and in the long run it'll be healthy for him to be taught a few lessons in this way.

He wasn't that bad first half and was offered no prtoection at all from Cole.

I'd be singling out a lot of more experienced wankers before Kelly.

Another fucking dreadful performance from the red men. I was hoping that the change in management would bring an end to Kuyt and Lucas, but obviously not.

If Hodgson continues to pick those two, and continues to accept us playing negatively, then he'll fail just like the previous fella did.

You know what, Kuyt was bravely battling in there, and not just his usual hard work shite, he was thinking and linking and basically trying to singlehandedly save Hodgson's tactical disaster.

Kuyt and Lucas aside, he's not accepting us playing negatively Brownie - he's sending them out to do just that.

Exactly, its been his way his whole career, even Murphy said there that Fulham are more attacking now and its not Roy's way. This is the way we'll play all season.

Torres will end up with his worst goal tally by a mile for us, even if he plays 40 games.

Don't know why i thought it would be any better. Same shite, different game.

Hodgson is so negative its unreal.

I really hate football at the moment ..cause its turning me into a grumpy father, husband and a fucker for the drink.

Don't know if i can take much more of this season.

Oh dear! He's clueless.

"I thought the shape of the team and the way we approached the game - I can have nothing but praise for my team."

"Utrecht did well. They were as determined and committed as we expected them to be, so we had to be at our best defensively and we were."

"So it's a good point to take back to Liverpool. Four points out of two games. It's the first time we haven't won one of these games but to be honest it would have been unfortunate for them if we'd won the game tonight. They would have felt hard done by. For me, a draw was a more than satisfactory result."

Never thought things could be worse than under Rafa but they are and theyre not going to get any better IMO. We get worse by the week and will be in a fucking relegation battle soon if things dont change.

Woy out!

Was I watching a different game, where we got hammered 6-0 or something????? Oh sorry, I was looking at us getting a draw at a place where Celtic got hammered in the last round.

Then I look at the table and despite the moaning or groaning, it reads:

Liverpool 2 4

Napoli.....2 2

Utrecht...2 2

Steaua....2 1

1 defeat in 8 games, 2 points clear after 2 games in this, but you can still scream "Sack Roy". :telloff:

No wonder nobody else would take our job. :whatever:

SO i take it you enjoy watching dull defensive non attacking football which isolates our only striker who may well leave in January then?

It's all well and good saying Celtic took a hammering there in the last round. but last time i looked this was Liverpool Football club. and we tend to play in a much stronger laeague that the Scottish one.

or are you attempting to say we're not that much better than Celtic?

Here's an idea how about the manager stops telling the world how much better our opposition is compared to us and actually tries to instill a little confidence in our players before a game.

Could you imagine Bill Shankly saying to the press beforehand "Oh Utrecht ohhh there a great team we'll be lucky here to get a point"

No he'd say "who the fuck are these no-marks fuck em we'll score 12 against these no problem."
