Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, VVD, Gomez, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Jones, Diaz, Nunez, Jota.

Gakpo as the only senior outfield player on the bench...

I think we have the grand total of 13 senior players available as it stands.

It does not get much more stretched than that.

From the Telegraph,

There will not be any VAR in operation at the upcoming Carabao Cup semi-final matches, because Middlesbrough do not currently have the technology at the Riverside Stadium.

Chelsea travel to Middlesbrough for the first leg of the two-legged semi-final on Tuesday night, with Fulham playing against Liverpool in the other semi-final.

In the FA Cup, VAR has been in use at Premier League stadiums who have the technology and not in the others, but in the interests of fairness the English Football League has decided to not have it for any of the four matches altogether, rather than three out of four.

A spokesman told The Daily Telegraph: “There will be no VAR used in the semi finals because it was not possible for the technology to be used at Middlesbrough.
“It was decided it was fairer to not use it in any of the four semi final games as a result.

“The FA took a different approach (with the FA Cup) but we felt this was the way to go. If it couldn’t be used in one of the game it won’t be used in any of the four semi final legs.

“However, VAR will be used for the final regardless of who is playing in it as the technology is already installed at Wembley.”

There has been no VAR in the competition to date, even in all-Premier League clashes, although this has not been without some controversy.

Surprised Middlesbrough don’t have this bullshit at their soulless yet fairly modern stadium. Don’t they use VAR in the championship?

Its great knowing that goal counts and your bet has won rather than some Stockley Park cunt trying to do you out of your 1 pound fifty winnings.

I'm sure Middlesbrough were thanking their lucky stars that they don't have VAR last night after being denied a clear penalty in the first minute.

So far as tonight is concerned, I'm really looking forward to seeing our subs bench. Half expecting Jay Spearing to be on it.

Its ok mate - apparently we just play the kids anyway and win. The sheer arrogance ive seen displayed recently on here but mostly rawk is that weve become some sort of indestructible unit and that in fact we could just play kids at fullback in a two legged semi final and go through with ease.

It's probably because he only plays for the under 21s in the EFL trophy.

VAR results in wrong decisions all the time. Absolutely zero guarantee of a stonewall penalty being given, especially after the ref has waved play on.

I think the recent games without it have been an absolute breath of fresh air.
