Never liked her music. Especially having a pub with every fucking act and their dag singing Proud Mary (yes I know CCR did it first) but rip anyway. I'm reasonably sure I knocked one out over her in the 80s so fair play to her.

The passing of a absolute legend, icon and superstar - call her what you will, its sad that our era will see the passing of the greats and the next generation, what will they be left with to mourn ?......Harry Styles, Taylor Swift , Robbie Williams. The poor gets.

In her defence there, most great 60s and early 70s artists went to shit as the 70s wore on and hobbled into the the next decade.

 

A lot of the great soul artists were killed off by disco then buried under the horrible production of the 80s.
