A half decent performance, nothing more nothing less.

 

Milner, Tsimikas, Van Dijk, Bobby, Thiago and Nunez all played well, Konate also decent. The rest pretty average. Our pressing was a bit better than in many other games this season, which helps.

 

Still miles from our best, and Milner looking the second best midfielder at the club isn’t a good sign.

Decent effort that. Scoreline flattered us in the end but after all the stick they have taken the last week a good professional game against a top top team. Beat Spuds at the weekend and re-group .

Nice respite from this season. Fair play to Nunez, made a difference when he came on. Salah is Salah, remarkable player. Levels of consistency we won’t see for a long time.

I think I read we're now likely to face either Madrid, Bayern or Porto in the next round which will be very tough but it'll be a new year and hopefully we'll have bucked our ideas up by then.

Get a midfield reinforcement in January and get Jota and Diaz back and hopefully we can find a bit of form and give any of them a game. Dortmund have det the priced of 130ml for Bellinghsm and we shouldn't pay that. Could get 2 in for that and cover the extra wages aswell. Go and get at least 1 in january
