Its the 76th minute and they are ahead purely down to abject defending by Sheffield United. They may score more in the last 15minutes or so but they are toiling against the worst team in the league.

 

Its a City side without Aguero, De Bruyne, Sterling, Mahrez and Cancelo. Put them 5 in and it would be a different story.

 

They have dropped off from 2 years ago. It was somewhat inevitable due to the likes of Kompany and Silva moving on and Aguero declining. 

 

Its a weak season. The first one since Leicester won the league in 15/16. City will win it because whilst not at their peak, they have the best combination of a good manager and a strong squad.
