Football has never been so clearly divided by tiers of money. We have to get used to the idea of not being in the top tier.

Winning things and having a team full of great players gets that money in.

 

Nike and Adidas aren’t gonna be offering us 50 mill per season to have our shite fucking up every week on their watch

Yep. But it won't happen. 

 

It is either extreme naivety or extreme hubris to imagine that players like Mignolet, Moreno and Lovren can become great with just a bit of coaching.

Lovren is having a good season. He hasn’t made a costly mistake after the Spurs game. He deserves to start ahead of Matip. If he fucks up then Klavan should get a go.
