Ghost of Tsushima getting decidedly average reviews. It appears to be one of those open world games that doesn't really do one thing amazingly, just a lot of things meh.

84/100 based on the average score over 82 critic reviews - considered generally favourable...Only 14 reviews below 8/10.

Decided to wait on this. Playing some games last week and a bit bored on any game I play at the moment. Just feels like I'm playing to do something. Going to paint some miniatures and will probably get this in September as I'm off for a week and I'll get it for about £30/35 instead.

First thing that come to mind with the setting was "we better make this a anti socialist/communist game" got to please those freedom lovers after Far Cry 5.

Love the fallout over that.

Yanks crying about a God worshipping cult in the US. Demanding either they move it setting to Canada or anywhere else or make the protagonists Muslims.

Either way can't wait, only got into Far Cry for the 4th game. Should go back and finish Primal really

Metacritic is sabotage central.

I have no idea what this means, it's based on the reviews provided by sites external to metacritic.

I'm gonna go all in on it. Days gone got slated and I thought it was an incredible game.

Based on what I have seen of it, if I were in the market for a new game I would pull the trigger. But I have so many others from the last couple of years that I won't be buying anything 'new' for a while. But it looks boss. I've still never played God of War, Spiderman or Days Gone and that's just three I can think of on PS4. Also have stuff on Switch, PC and Xbox One to catch up on. Bonkers.

Can't say much about Days Gone as I haven't played it but God of War is sublime. Spiderman just bored me rigid after about the 8th or 9th Street battle with Mr Negative's henchmen. Some of these open world games need a good editor as developers are putting way too much chaff into them.

Days Gone and God Of War are two of the best games on PS4. I wasn't keen on Spiderman either bored me to tears.

I've just ordered Ghost of T, as it looks pretty spectacular and you can't beat an elite open world game.

I think Watchdogs Legion could be a game that I'd get well into. As usual the story wouldn't interest me much, but being able to roam around in what looks like the most detailed recreation of a real life city in a console game to date and also being able to recruit any npc you see could make it a game I'd spend quite a few hours on. Mainly spent roaming around the city for the sake of it + doing sidequest stuff and also getting a good team of characters together. If the characters are good and varied enough that could also make the actual main story a lot more hackable too.

Need to play watch dogs 2. The first was OK, in fact might replay that a bit this weekend and then get the second for August and the third on release.

I do like the look of the Kurisawa mode on Got though.

Any news on preorders fir next gen consoles and prices

As much as I want Cyberpunk I'm very tempted to just wait for the next gen version

Last I heard is PS5 will be plentiful on release so pre-order may not be necessary. I suspect Microsoft will be in a similar position. Still nothing at all on prices, but there will be two models of each. Xbox series x and xbox series s, with the series s being quite a bit cheaper without a disc drive and slightly lower specs.

Worth mentioning that Sony and I believe Microsoft are now going down the route of ps4 and Xbox one games being compatible with next gen so if you buy cyberpunk it should be playable and enhanced but it will be worth waiting until it is released to get the full details.

Yep. Word "on the street" is that Sony have almost doubled their initial request for release day manufacturing, so rather than 5-6 million machines, there is expected to be closer to 10 million available from day one.

If you're PC gamers you've got until 7am this morning to pick Watch Dogs 2 up for free. Otherwise it's now on PS Now too, not sure about X-Box game pass though.

Cheers, think I got it in time. It appears I have about a dozen games on UPlay, 6-7 of them I knew about as I bought them from Steam, Gawd knows where I got the others from.
