I saw them at The Royal Court years ago and they were amazing. When they played Fiesta, it went right off in there. More stage diving than I've seen at any other gig - including Rage Against The Machine. Shane was utterly arseholed, obviously.

My Dad's good mates with one of The Pogues so I've seen them and met them all loads, they used to give my brother and me t-shirts whenever we went along when we were kids, top lads and Shane is genuinely always fucking blootered.

 

I'm not really a big lyrics person but Shane's about as good as they come for me.
