You seem like a good lad and I don’t believe for a minute you meant to offend but that was a mental comment.

 

Not sure if I’ve mentioned this but my old man was there and barely went to the game afterwards. He took me a few times but never really enjoyed it. If he heard those songs on the tele, he went really quiet and would never talk about it.

 

Too many people were affected from our city and I grew up next to Gerard’s family. Jon Paul Was only 10. That still affects them to this day.

I feel really bad about this now. If anyone knows Anubis personally can you pass on my sincere apologies & tell him I hope he comes back on the forum. Not for me to feel better about myself but because the forum is a better place with him around.

I have an uncle who’s similar. He took me to my first game at Anfield to show me what it’s like going to the match but he hasn’t been since then. 
 

He’s never spoken about it either. I only know he was there because other family members told me.

Could have sworn I saw Al (ATK) in Ma Egertons the other week just before The Smyths gig, ( night England played USA) would have said hi but didn’t risk making a tit of myself in case it wasn’t him as I haven’t seen him in years.
