I am having a Gastrocopy tomorrow due to bad reflux and Barretts Oesophagus runs in the family.

 

Dreading it to be honest. I am not going to get sedated and know I will be gagging loads.

Yeah thats the one. They give you the option to be sedated but its difficult to get lifts etc.

I ended up having sedation myself. Was still fucking horrible. I have an open oesophagus, which is causing the reflux and they did a few biopsies to check for infections.

Won't even try and compare my problem with most of the stuff on here but.... I've got fucking horrible toothache. Bottom right wisdom tooth stopped growing years ago as it was impacting the tooth next to it. I chipped it about a year ago but its never given me any grief so I've just left it.

 

The past week/10 days I've been getting pain from it and this evening it is unbearable. Ive taken paracetamol, ibuprofen, corsodyl and rinsed with warm salt water and its still throbbing. Im not registered with a dentist up here yet so gonna have to go and get it sorted tomorrow if it continues. Feel like ripping my jaw off.

Paramol is the best thing i had when i cracked a tooth. Its a nerve pain killer. Well i mixed it with with bourbon (purley to keep it clean of course)

Toothache is fucking horrible, I never understand why people underestimate the pain involved, I've had toothache where I've not slept for days and was in total agony.

 

Nurofen is the best thing for it, brushing the fucked tooth about 8 times a day helps in my experience too & don't rinse the toothpaste off with water.

If you're not registered with a dentist go to the dental hospital. Today
