I think the big issue is that Gakpo is nowhere to be seen for a lot of these attacks. It's a bit easier to find space when the defence's attention is split. Makes a wider run a good option, rather than trying to squeeze nothing through balls to nowhere or shooting from range all the time.

Elliot shouldn't be up against centrebacks he's way too small and way too slow any space he gets his only strength is through playing a ball not running with it or fighting for it.
