He had the choice of a 1 year extension after 2024 when his contract ends, which according to this, he doesnt want to do. So now PSG might have to sell him.

Madrid fans will demand Mbappe.  It's very likely they'll try, but how will that work with FFP and signing Bellingham? 

They could try and sell Tchouameni but I'm guessing Mbappe would like to play with him.  

Valverde is their only real saleable player for big money without hurting them too much.

What I think he's doing is trying to leave on a free next summer. He would get the most ridiculous contract we have ever seen and he would have everybody in a bidding war for him. And he wants to play in the Olympics that summer and there'd be no one telling him what to do if he has no club.

I doubt we’ll pivot for Valverde, he’ll cost as much as Bellingham. 
 

Although I all for having more Spanish speakers playing for us, certainly preferable to French. Spanish speakers have never let us down.

He really does improve their side though. He's pretty much exactly what they need, overpriced but they've decided they want to compete and he's what they need. We should of been in a position where just one or two top quality signings each window or two kept us at levels instead we just let our team age and contracts run out, really poor planning. Look at our planning still, pick your first 11 next season where does Nunez fit in, I'd love to hear the reasoning and planning behind his signing another left sided player when Salah has zero replacement/competition. The short team director of football after ward jibbing the job he's been groomed for,it all feels like control has been lost.

 

Another point as much as I love Klopp is it wise for him to be so focal to everything, when he leaves there's a huge problem, I thought the infrastructure we had meant transitioning  between managers should be as seamless as possible, we need to work on this so the club carries on its own philosophy consistently. We need a club identity.

 

I dont know why I'm arsed another year of city winning titles, the league just becoming a prostitute for Abu Dhabi, Saudi and Qatar to fuck and then dump its corpse on what's left of the fans who give a shit.
