Pickems are back. We've had a trial run on the members forum during the world cup to make sure everything is working properly, and so far so good. So we're going to run it for the rest of the PL season and it's open to everyone.

 

I was going to give people the option to play for money, but I think we'll leave that until next season and just use the rest of this season as a chance for people to get used to it, as there is a couple of things that do need ironing out.

Be aware though that due to the pickems application having been created for US sports, the away team is listed first. When you enter your score though, the home and away columns are correct, it's just the way they are listed that is the problem.

 

So if you look at the below screenshot, under game details it says Tottenham v Brentford. It should be reversed because we always list the home team first, but in the US they don't. It's confusing, but the thing to remember is that in the picks columns they are headed correctly, but the away team is still first. So, Spurs are the away team (left column) and Brentford are the home team (right column) as it should be.

 

I'll try to get that fixed at some point but for now we have to just use it the way it is.
