It will be:

                         Firmino

Mane                                         Salah

              Keita                Wij

                      Henderson

Robertson        VvD           Lovren         Milner

                           Alisson

There's a pattern showing we play 4-3-3 in the big games and 4-2-3-1 with Salah central against the smaller sides, so we'll likely go with the former. He'll pick Henderson over Fabinho for his experience.

The worry for me is Lovren and Milner on the right side with the pace that United have on the wings with Rashford or Martial.

Martial is injured

I hate this fixture, especially when they’re the underdogs. We’ve all been raving about how awesome Alisson and Van Dijk are leading up to this game, I can just fucking see it... been trying to tell myself that all that matters is the three points.

Not being from Liverpool, I’ve never really cared much for Everton. Growing up, I only knew of a couple of (literally two) Everton fans, and they were quite sound. Seen as a bit ‘edgy’ even for picking a smaller club to support.

United have always been the big one I love to ‘hate’. Fact that they were so successful, back from beginning of my football following days... that luckiest of ‘treble’. The days leading up to the game are just the worst. I hate the fact that we’ve struggled to beat them even though we’ve been better than them for a few years now. If someone had offered me to swap that win against Napoli with a guaranteed 5-0 smashing this weekend (1 x Salah, 1 x Van Dijk, 3 x Phil Jones OG), It’d be a close call.

City winning might be good for us. For most of humanity's evolution, we were foraging and scavenging underdogs. We've only recently become apex predators on the planet. It's psychologically hard to stay on top constantly unless you have a huge financial advantage like ManU used to and City currently enjoy. The lads need to not fear losing and try to get at them.

I stopped watching any and all of our games with Man Utd in 2015 and I can't recommend it enough. Not trying to come off as holier than thou or anything like that - as I love a merseyside derby - but I just find the whole thing poisonous and it's a decision I don't regret at all.

That’s weird. We all love big games and this is one of our biggest games. The game was probably more poisonous years ago compared to know, especially under Slur Alex.  But that ‘poison’ adds to the atmosphere, that’s what makes there’s games so special. I know our record recently v them is shit. But I just can not understand a  Luvetpoo fan not watching these games. You must be such a sensitive soul.

2015 means I stopped watching under LVG. We had a boss record at the time, it was the season after we had the Moyes is a football genius banners and destroyed them at Old Trafford.

I decided the whole thing just wasn't why I watched football. Two clubs and cities who should be in total alignment with each other over being financially raped and pillaged by Americans who don't give a shit about our history and tradition. You throw in the fact we're an hour away from each other, but are singing about the most tragic days any of us ever saw, and doing it year after year, even when the facts are well known.

It's just not for me, mate. Not having a go at people for watching the game, and being excited for a huge game, at all. Just saying I'm not into it, and have felt loads better since.

We may be talking about different’poison’. The poison of singing about deaths doesn’t help create the right atmosphere.

I fucking hate this game. I've been dreading it since Wednesday morning. I despise those cunts and everything about them. Even though we are miles in front of them, the smug satisfaction they'd get from derailing our title challenge would be unbearable.

Twat these cunts reds, you need to.

Well the Sky coverage begins and Dave Jones starts by asking Roy Keane who is best equipped to go forward - us or the mancs. Keane answers ‘is that a trick question ‘ Of course he says Liverpool!

This will be even greater if we win - Keane’s face!!

I think Keane would take great pleasure in us winning, he loves having a pop at Utd so anything that fuels that will be okay with him.
