Great player sturridge, can't help but think he's got that whole massive pussy shithouse thing though that we love in a player.

 

Went missing when it really counted at the end of last season and when we really really need him he's out for 3 months with minor strains. Don't think he can handle the pressure this one.

Sad thing is, if we'd have made the correct signings, we'd maybe looking to shift Sturridge because we'd be saying we need someone who isn't so injury prone. As it is, we're all praying he comes back and not only gets right back at it, but that he will also remain injury free for the rest of the season. 

 

We've spunked it because we haven't replaced our best player with anyone of a similar style, and didn't address the glaring fitness issues with our other talented attacker. We needed to sign 2 blazing fast strikers who would fill the gap. We signed a lambo with a flat and a ferrari with a duff gearbox. 

 

It's still doable though. Sell a couple of players and buy a striker and play him with Sterling and finally get a DM in for backup when Can gets injured again. Oh and I keep saying it but get Ibe back to fill in for Sterling or play with Sterling if we don't spend in Jan. At least we'd have some movement upfront again. And please pretty please with a fucking cherry on top, can we see Gerrard played in attack?
