They did not bother to look at the logistics, and they simply kicked common sense into touch. That now leaves FIFA with a massive ball ache of a problem to fix and you can see this by all the back-tracking from the likes of Blatter, Valcke and co.

I must admit Sydney did a fucking brilliant job with the 2000 Olympics and the Rugby World Cup in 2003. it would have been excellent to stage the world cup in Oz. Maybe this will be the trigger for the European teams to launch a break away 'super league' and fuck the FIFA/UEFA mafia off ...
