I think that out of all our forwards,at the moment our worst two are Salah and Mane! Mane is still popping up with a goal and working hard,as Stringy correctly pointed out,but without those goals Mo is looking a bit lost. I think the contract has everything to do with the form situation. I think it's more to do with outside pressure on him than everything else given his status as the most popular Egyptian since Cleopatra.

Maddock apparently started some rumours on twitter earlier today that Mo has agreed to stay on 400k per week and then apparently started backtracking. I'm not on twitter, so don't know the details, just he's now claiming "if a deal is to be done it won't be more than 400k".
