Now is it me or are the BBC making out this was an amazing performance?

 

I got to see the second half and I'll be honest I didn't see anything that would make the other teams worry too much. It was gutsy but there are weaknesses in Milner and I would also add Barry to that too.

They were mate. Lawrenson sounded like the prick that he is. England were shite against an average side. Whoever the main commentator was said that it was like a Premier League Side up against 3rd division, very disrespectable.

I am listening to the commentry on BBC HD and they are talking about what a good performance, but we only beat them by 1 goal. The performance was good and better than we have been playing, but for gods sake there are only 2 million people in Slovenia, and football is something like 4th in the popularity stakes.

 

Because we have played so bad the last 2 games we are so relieved to have gone through, we are overlooking the fact that we have underachived FFS. We have come second to the USA, we will probably get Germany next and if by some major miracle we will then probably get Argentina in the quater final.
